Day 1: Lake Manyara National Park
Begin the day with an early morning departure from Arusha, taking in the scenic beauty of the Great Rift Valley on the way to Lake Manyara National Park. Upon arrival, explore the park’s lush woodlands and open savannah, home to diverse wildlife, including tree-climbing lions, large elephant herds, and vibrant flamingos along the lakeshore. Enjoy a picturesque picnic lunch surrounded by nature before continuing the game drive, capturing stunning views of the lake and its surrounding escarpments. In the late afternoon, drive to Karatu for a restful evening at Eileen’s Tree Inn or a similar lodge, where dinner is included.
