4-Days Mount Meru Climbing Adventure

Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where a private transfer will take you to Meru View Lodge, a tranquil retreat at the base of Mount Meru. Enjoy a gourmet dinner and unwind in a serene environment, preparing for the adventure ahead. (Half-board accommodation)

After breakfast, transfer to Momella Gate (1,500m) for park registration before beginning the ascent. The trail winds through lush forests, offering sightings of giraffes, buffalos, and colobus monkeys. After 3-4 hours of hiking, arrive at Miriakamba Hut (2,514m) for an overnight stay with full-board services.

A scenic hike through alpine landscapes leads to Saddle Hut (3,570m) in 2-3 hours. Stop at “Mgongo wa Tembo” for sweeping views of the Meru crater and distant Kilimanjaro. The afternoon is free for rest or a short acclimatization hike to Little Meru (3,820m) before settling in for the night.

Start the ascent at 1:00 am, navigating the dramatic ridgeline toward Socialist Peak (4,566m). Reach the summit at sunrise and enjoy unparalleled vistas of Kilimanjaro, the Great Rift Valley, and the Maasai Steppe. Descend to Miriakamba Hut for a well-earned rest and overnight stay.

After breakfast, descend through open meadows and lush forests back to Momella Gate, where a private transfer awaits. Return to Meru View Lodge for a relaxing evening and a celebratory dinner.
