Safari Tanzania – Mikumi National Park situated 300km southwest of Dar es Salaam; it offers a wide variety of wildlife in its 3230sq km area. Baboon, buffalo, colobus, monkey, African hunting dog, eland. elephant, giraffe, lion, waterbuck and a lot more can be seen in this park.
Day trips from Dar es Salaam and Morogoro regions are possible to be done for local citizens and foreigners.

Itinerary
Pick up by your safari guide at Julias Nyerere International Airport upon arrival, and depart for Mikumi National park (5-6 hours drive from Dar es Salaam), being nestled between the Uluguru Mountains to the East and the Rift Valley Escarpments to the Southwest. As it is close to the Selous ecosystem and therefore part of it, it benefits from the highest game density of the entire conservation area. The Mikumi National Park obtains a good impression of the African animal world and is definitely suitable for a short visit. After arrival at Mikumi National Park you have the opportunity to embark on sunset game drives around the park. Overnight on full board services at :-

Breakfast followed by a full day game viewing drive in the park. The park shares a common boundary with Selous Game Reserve to the South forming a vast track of protected wilderness. Lunch will be at Kikoboga Camp or Morongoro Town depends on traffic. In the afternoon we will have game viewing drive in the park around the hippo pools (Kisungura Circuit). Most animal can be seen coming down to drink at water holes and the Hippo Pools from time to time but the stars of the show will always be the hippos themselves.
