Day 2: Tarangire National Park & Return to Arusha
At 6:30 AM, leave Karatu for Tarangire National Park, a 1.5-hour journey (90 km) into a vast landscape dominated by ancient baobab trees and thriving wildlife. By 9:00 AM, begin a full-day game drive, encountering massive elephant herds, graceful giraffes, and elusive leopards in their natural habitat. A picnic lunch at 12:30 PM at Matete Picnic Site offers a serene break with stunning views of the savannah. At 4:00 PM, begin the return journey to Arusha, arriving at 6:30 PM for drop-off at your hotel.
